An XFL referee will make sure he gets the correct city next time when announcing things to thousands of people.
During a timeout between the St. Louis BattleHawks and DC Defenders, an XFL referee referred to the St. Louis Battlehawks as “Seattle.” He quickly realized his mistake and fixed it.
However, fans were still not happy as they began to boo him over his slip of the tongue.
Despite the homefield advantage, the Defenders came into town and walked out with a 28-20 victory to remain undefeated on the season.
The BattleHawks dropped to 3-2 on the year.
