Former WWE star Ronda Rousey is not surprised by what’s happening with the promotion.
Rousey joined WWE after retiring from UFC and has been promoting her upcoming book, “Our Fight.” She hasn’t spared any punches while speaking about her distaste for Vince McMahon.
The UFC Hall of Famer was recently interviewed by NewsNation and had something surprising to say about WWE performer Drew Gulak. According to Rousey, Gulak once tugged on the string of her sweatpants in a hallway despite barely knowing her.
“I was standing there, and a guy that I’m barely an acquaintance with grabbed the string of my sweatpants as I was walking by, and I wasn’t even looking at him. This guy grabs the string of my sweatpants, and nobody else reacts as if this is abnormal,” she recalled.
“He grabs and starts going down the hall and I’m like wtf was that? Why are you grabbing the string of my sweatpants, if my husband was here standing next to me, would you feel comfortable walking up to me and grabbing the string of my sweatpants?”
Rousey also claimed that there were other people there whose reactions suggested Drew’s behavior was everyday stuff at the promotion.

“Nobody around me acted like as if it was abnormal…if this guy is coming up to me and doing this stuff to me when other people are around, what’s happening to these other girls when it’s not in the hall way?” she continued. “That really put me on edge as to that this behavior is prevalent, that it’s so prevalent that this isn’t a problem.”
Ronda said she subsequently confronted Gulak, who was very apologetic.
Ronda Rousey Hated Working With Vince McMahon
WWE is under scrutiny again following the allegations regarding former chairman Vince McMahon.
Speaking to CageSide Seats last month, Ronda Rousey referred to McMahon as a “sicko” and said he was the reason she left WWE.
“I just didn’t wanna be Vince’s action F- Ing figure anymore. I felt like I was like doing custom matches for a F- Ing sicko in the back,” she said. “All power to the girls that keep fighting the good fight. But I’m in my mid-30s now. I’ve got S- to do.”
Rousey also claimed McMahon never actually left and was still running WWE remotely.
