The Rock delivered in a big way at WrestleMania 40, and fans were absolutely thrilled to see him back in action before delivering memories to older fans who hadn’t watched the sport in years.
The Rock being at Wrestlemania also made his bank account happy as well.
Back in January, it was announced that TKO Group, the parent of WWE and UFC, named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as part of its board of directors. At that time, The Rock agreed to a merchandising and promotional agreement with WWE that would allow the wrestling company to use his name, image, and likeness for up to a decade. In return, TKO will give Johnson stock worth $30 million.
Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed Universal Champion at WWE WrestleMania 40 Sunday, and The Rock was a major attraction on both nights of the event. That would work out well for him as he earned almost $10 million in TKO stock after The Showcase of The Immortals.
The Rock was paid $9.41 million in TKO group stock shares after WrestleMania for “completion of certain services described.”
Dwayne Johnson was granted 96,558 shares of TKO Group Holdings Class A common stock on Sunday following his return to the ring at WrestleMania 40.

Under the terms of the promotional deal The Rock signed, he received a quarter of the stock when it became effective, and he will get another 25% at year’s end; another 25% will be doled out in monthly increments in 2025, according to Sportico.com.
The remaining stock will come once The Rock fulfills certain benchmarks set forth in the service agreement that have not been disclosed.
