Mandy Rose could make her first non-WWE million by Christmas.
Rose had spent 413 days as NXT Women’s Champion before her run ended abruptly with a loss; she was fired right after, with reports claiming she was axed due to come of the content from her FanTime account leaking.
Per Fightful Select, WWE claimed “the content was not appropriate for one or more of their partner relationships, and that she didn’t seem interested in ceasing posting.”
Fans were pretty upset over Rose’s firing and the hashtag #rehireMandyRose began trending in its wake. The 32-year-old thanked them for the support and let them know her FanTime page was going nowhere.
This week, TMZ’s report on the matter shed some light on the reason the former WWE star is refusing to close up shop. According to the publication, Rose has already made $500,000 from the platform since her release.
While the firing was controversial in the eyes of many, it’s also done wonders for Rose’s business on the platform … with her agent, Malki Kawa, telling us the 32-year-old has earned a whopping $500,000 from her FanTime page since she got the ax.
In fact, Kawa predicts Rose will be the newest self-made millionaire by Christmas … 6 days away.
Following the decision to sack Mandy last week, Wrestling insider Dave Meltzer noted that the female wrestler kept pushing the boundaries when she realized how much attention and money she was attracting.
