Dana White’s UFC Apex Centre arena will host a WWE NXT Battleground event on June 9th, according to a recent report by @WrestleVotes. The event is scheduled to mark the inaugural World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) show at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As per rumours, The original plan was for Savannah, Georgia, to host the summer WWE NXT event on May 26. The cause for the scheduling modification to Dana White’s UFC Apex Centre is currently unknown.
According to rumours, Savanna, GA, is moving, and the show’s host will no longer be GA. Live coverage of NXT Battleground will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
PWInsider verified this report, confirming that the event would be moving to a new date. They did not, however, report on the venue change to Dana White’s UFC Apex Centre.
WWE and UFC’s Merger Allows WWE To Host Its Fight In Dana White’s UFC Apex Centre
The WWE has not formally disclosed any changes to the WWE NXT Battleground schedule to Dana White’s UFC Apex Centre. Less than a month will pass before the next heatwave if it is shifted. It would be unprecedented to hold two significant NXT events so close to one another. That event is slated for July 7.
Although this is significant news for the professional wrestling and combat sports industries, it shouldn’t come as a total surprise. This is due to the 2023 merger of the UFC and WWE to create TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (TKO). A new cooperation and a historic merger of eminent institutions offered a plethora of new chances and resources.

It now seems that the latest merger is allowing WWE to hold events inside the UFC Apex, which has only ever hosted Dana White’s Contender Series and live UFC events in the past.
Fortunately, there will be more UFC-WWE crossovers. UFC lightweight Michael Chandler was granted a slot on an edition of WWE’s RAW earlier this year to deliver a ferocious promo for his impending matchup with Conor McGregor. It was rather exceptional and a wonderful illustration of the TKO Group’s current crossover power.
