A rep for Hulk Hogan has said the former wrestler is not paralyzed and is doing okay following claims to the contrary from Kurt Angle.
Speaking via his podcast on Sunday, Angle disclosed the erstwhile could not feel his lower body and was using a cane to move around due to nerves being cut during a surgical procedure on his back.
“Hogan had his back surgery again. He had the nerves cut from his lower body,” Angle said on the Kurt Angle Show. “He can’t feel his lower body. He has to use his cane to walk around. I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything. Now he can’t feel his legs, so he has to walk with a cane, which is pretty serious.”
Entertainment Tonight is now reporting that the ex-showman is able to walk without the help of a cane, citing a rep who said Hulk is “doing well and is not paralyzed.” It’s also worth noting he was on Raw just last Monday and didn’t look to have any kind of difficulty moving around.
The source seemed to suggest that Hogan was joking when he said he couldn’t feel his legs.
“Everything is OK with him,” the rep insisted. “Hulk is someone with a lot of humor.”

Hogan has been under the knife multiple times since his days as an active ring performer. According to his daughter Brooke, who spoke to the Hollywood Raw podcast in 2021, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer had an insane 25 surgeries between then and 2011.
If the rep is telling the truth, Angle will probably have a bone to pick with the Hulkster for having him embarrass himself by sharing fake news. Of course, Hulk might not have known Angle would have taken to his podcast to repeat what he was told.
