If you’ve been following Sunny over the past few years, then you already know just how problematic her personal life has become since she has been out of the ring.
According to TMZ, wrestling icon Tammy Lynn Sytch, known by her in-ring name “Sunny,” was reportedly involved in a car crash last month that led to the death of a 75-year-old man. What makes matters even worse for her is that police reportedly suspect that Sytch was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Sytch was allegedly driving a Mercedes that crashed into the rear of a Kia Sorento that had been stopped at a light. Per the report, witnesses say that Sytch was “driving at a high rate of speed” when she hit the Kia.
That unidentified man was transported to the hospital, but would later pass away.
Just this year, Sytch was arrested in New Jersey and charged with two counts of unlawfully possessing a weapon and one count of terroristic threats. The weapons charges are both third-degree, while the threats charge is fourth-degree. They carry a maximum combined total prison sentence of 11 years if found guilty on all charges.
Sytch worked for several wrestling promotions, including WWE, ECW and WCW, throughout a career that began in 1992.

The 49-year-old New Jersey native has dealt with numerous legal issues since 2012. She appeared to be doing well when she joined OnlyFans, but ended up being arrested and released from prison in June after nine months in jail following a July 2020 arrest on charges of operating a motor vehicle during a second license suspension, eluding a police officer and contempt/violation of a domestic violence restraining order.
Sunny may have had her final chance at redemption.
