WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is no stranger to making outrageous claims without evidence to back it up, so take this latest one with an extra grain of salt.
Hulk Hogan has a reputation for exaggerating stories or telling complete lies to help his legendary status. Among them: The Rolling Stones and Metallica both asked him to join their band, that he once wrestled 400 days in a single year (citing the “time difference” between Japan and the United States) and that Elvis Presley was a big fan of his, even though the King of Rock and Roll died in 1977 well before Hogan became a prominent name in the wrestling world.
This time, the former WWE Champion claims that two of the top-selling music artists in history wanted to have dinner alone with him, implying that they wanted to hook up.
Hulk Hogan told the stories during an appearance on the “PBD Podcast.” According to the WWE Hall of Famer, Hogan was at the Twin Towers for Vince McMahon’s birthday party. He was told that Cher had a limo outside and wanted to have dinner with him:
“The thing that really got me with the whole celebrity thing was when I was sitting at the Twin Towers one day with my wife at Vince’s birthday party. This cop comes up, taps me on the shoulder, and I said, ‘Yes?’ So, now I’m sitting with my wife, right? And the guy goes, ‘Oh, Cher sent her limo for you—it’s downstairs. She wants you to come over and have dinner with her.’
I’m like, ‘Cher? What are you talking about?’ And he says, ‘No, the Cher, the singer!’ I didn’t know what to make of it. I said, ‘Get out of here, what are you talking about?’ But you know, it was kind of weird because she just thought she could send a car, and I’d jump in and go running over there. No, no, Brother, come on. I was with my wife—I wouldn’t do that anyway.“

In another instance, Hogan claimed that Madonna arranged a ride for Hogan to attend one of her parties after he performed at Madison Square Garden. Hogan claims, again, that he didn’t do it because he was with his wife:
“Then there was another time when Madonna put out that S&M book—I can’t remember what they called it. She had a party in New York City, and I was at the Garden that night. She sent a car to pick me up to come to her party. And once again, I was with my wife, so I’m not doing that stuff. But yeah, those things catch you off guard, and that’s when you kind of realize that the character crosses over into that world.”
We’d love to have Cher and Madonna comment on these stories. But given their busy schedules, we don’t expect either star singer to hear anything about Hogan’s latest claims.
