Kevin Nash has wrestling fans on edge after his recent comments.
There was a lot of concern for Nash after the comments he made on his podcast about how he is dealing with the passing of his son Tristen. Nash stated, “Today is week 12 that I lost my boy.” Nash continued, “Time flies when you got a gun in your mouth. I mean, time flies when you’re having fun.”
Nash’s co-host Sean Oliver was not a fan of that comment and responded, “Don’t play like that. You have guns, so you can’t say those things.” Nash then responded by saying, “I can do whatever the f**k I wanna do as long as I leave a note.”
Nash then began opening up about what he has been going through and the grief process since losing his son a few months ago.
“Every morning when I wake up, the first thing that happens is I come to the realization that instead of there being three human beings in my home, there’s now two,” the WWE Hall of Famer said. “And the third person isn’t on vacation or staying with friends or is out late. He is never coming back. And then I sit up in the bed and I have absolutely nothing I have to do, and it’s like, ‘So, why am I getting out of bed?
Hours after the video went viral, it was reported that he had no intention of hurting himself, according to friend/promoter David Herro. Hero tweeted: “I just spoke with Kevin Nash. I can assure you that he has ZERO intentions to harm himself… especially as he hung up on me, walking into the gym. Arm Day.”

According to TMZ, deputies from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Daytona Beach, Fla, reached out to Nash to make sure he was not having suicidal thoughts. He informed the police he had no intention of harming himself. Nash has been open about the grief he has felt since his son died from cardiac arrest that was caused by a seizure.
His latest comments were probably his way of venting, and hopefully that was all it was.
Best wishes to Kevin Nash and his mental health going forward.
