The wrestling world is in deep mourning after learning WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has passed away. Triple H broke the news on Twitter.
Wyatt had been out of action since late February with an illness and it was recently reported that he was getting closer to getting cleared.
Triple H tweeted, “Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”
He last appeared on television in February.
Wyatt made his debut on the WWE main roster at the 2010 Hell In a Cell pay-per-view when he joined the Nexus. He won the WWE championship for the first time at the Elimination Chamber event before dropping the title to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33.
His character has become one of the most popular characters in WWE.

Samantha Rotunda, his ex-wife, had filed for divorce from him back in 2017 as she alleged he was having an affair with former WWE ring announcer JoJo. The divorce documents filed by Rotunda noted she and Wyatt had been separated when he is alleged to have “walked out” on her and the couple’s two daughters.
None of that truly matters now that he is gone and their kids have just lost a father forever.
We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family.
