Wrestling fans are concerned about the legend that is Scott Steiner after he had to be rushed to a local hospital after he collapsed in the locker room following IMPACT’s event in Atlanta on Friday, according to Fightful.com.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp stated Steiner was in the midst of working on some pre-recorded interviews when he suddenly collapsed backstage.
ProSportsExtra.com’s Brad Shepard delivered terrifying news when he reported the 57-year-old “stopped breathing at one point.”
IMPACT representative Scott D’Amore released a statement on Twitter that Steiner, also known as “Big Poppa Pump,” is doing alright and that the wrestler’s family “is grateful for everybody’s concern and support.”

As of Saturday morning, Steiner is scheduled to undergo heart surgery, according to PW Insider.
“Scott Steiner will be undergoing a heart procedure today, PWInsider.com has been told.
Steiner remains hospitalized in stable condition in Atlanta after collapsing backstage during an Impact taping.”
Hopefully all goes well for a man who has competed in four different decades.
