WWE chairman Vince McMahon shocked the wrestling world with a brand new look ahead of WrestleMania 39 weekend.
The two-day WrestleMania 39 event will take place inside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
On Friday, WWE had its Hall of Fame induction ceremony for the 2023 class at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. There, McMahon was seen sporting a mustache that makes him look almost unrecognizable.
As you can guess, social media had a lot of jokes on McMahon’s new look (fittingly, on April Fool’s Day).

WWE began running the two-day WrestleMania format in 2020 (due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WrestleMania 36 was pre-taped with no fans in attendance). The event card features Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships, Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Bianca Belair vs. Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship, Brock Lesnar vs. Omos and Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Less than six months after announcing his retirement from WWE, McMahon returned to the company in January as the executive vice chairman. McMahon’s brief retirement came following allegations of hush money payments and sexual misconduct.
Following his resignation, Stephanie McMahon (Vince’s daughter) and Nick Khan were named the co-CEOs of WWE. Triple H took over as the Head of Talent Relations as well as the leader of the creative team.
There has been plenty of speculation about WWE selling. This was one widely suggested factor in McMahon’s return to the company, and his severance pay is obviously going to be worth a lot of additional money.
