Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch will not be seeing the light of day for a very long time.
Former WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch was scheduled to be sentenced today for a deadly crash in which prosecutors said she was driving drunk. Assistant State Attorney Ashley Terwilleger was seeking the maximum penalty of 26 years in prison for Sytch, whom they have called a “danger to society” for repeated offenses.
Instead, she got 17 years in prison for her role in a 2022 car crash that killed a 75-year-old man. This came three months after she pled no contest to, among other charges, one felony count of DUI causing death.
Sytch reportedly broke down in tears during her speech to the courtroom and apologized for her actions.
“I know my words are not enough but please know that I think about you every day.”
Sytch has been behind bars since May 2022.

Sytch was allegedly driving a Mercedes that crashed into the rear of a Kia Sorento that had been stopped at a light. Per the report, witnesses say that Sytch was “driving at a high rate of speed” when she hit the Kia.
Also in 2022, Sytch was arrested in New Jersey and charged with two counts of unlawfully possessing a weapon and one count of terroristic threats.
Sytch worked for several wrestling promotions, including WWE, ECW, and WCW, throughout a career that began in 1992.
The 49-year-old New Jersey native has dealt with numerous legal issues since 2012. She appeared to be doing well when she joined OnlyFans but ended up being arrested and released from prison in June after nine months in jail following a July 2020 arrest on charges of operating a motor vehicle during a second license suspension, eluding a police officer, and contempt/violation of a domestic violence restraining order.
