Things appear to be getting worse in the effort to locate Shad Gaspard as officials are desperately searching for the former WWE superstar after he and his son was swept away in a riptide at Venice Beach on Sunday.
On Tuesday, the Coast Guard had suspended the search for the day, but the case would not be closed until they find him, according to TMZ.
Gaspard’s 10-year-old son was rescued from the water when Gaspard directed lifeguards to help his son first, which they did.
“One official working with the L.A. Fire Dept. told media they believe the 39-year-old “did submerge.”
Divers were sent to scour the area. Helicopters were searching from above.”
Shad was at the beach that day with his wife and their 10-year-old son.
