All the world wants is for Ric Flair to be healthy and “Woooooooooo” forever and ever.
A few weeks ago, the WWE legend gave the world a bit of a scare after it was revealed he was set to head into surgery for reasons unknown at the time. He would later be spotted coming out of the hospital in a wheelchair and all smiles.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, the 70-year-old decided to share the reason behind his recent hospitalization and it had to do with him getting a new pacemaker inserted.
“This is the fourth time I’ve been in (the hospital) in seven weeks … they finally figured out what type of pacemaker to put on me, which I found out just how important the operation of your heart is,” Flair said. “You can’t breathe if your heart’s not working.”
The 70-year-old also revealed that doctors removed a blood clot he had no clue about.
“I feel great,” he said. “The prognosis is I could live to be 95.”
“I stayed for 48 hours [after surgery] just to make sure because we’ve been trying everything,” Ric said, showing off his brand-new heart surgery scar.
“We finally got behind it and I think I’m good to go.”
