Parents behaving badly at youth sports continues to be a problem all over the country with emotions running high and people not being able to take that their kid is probably no good enough at whatever sport that they are competing in.
That seemed to be the case over the weekend in North Carolina during an event between Southeast Guilford H.S. and Hickory Ridge H.S. in Kannapolis, N.C. when a father became so enraged with the way his son’s match was going, he charged onto the mat and pushed his son’s 17-year-old opponent in the back and knocked him to the floor.
A brawl ensued and that father was eventually arrested for simple assault and disorderly conduct.
Cops identified the suspect as 54-year-old Barry lee Jones and processed him at the Carraburrus County Jail. He was later released on $1,000 bond, according to TMZ.

“And I certainly apologize to the students at both high schools who experienced that, particularly the student who was attacked.”
