The Cavinder Twins have made their first WWE appearance since quitting basketball, showing up to an NXT event on Tuesday night.
Haley and Hanna have been training vigorously and are expected to make an in-ring debut at some point this year, having made the transition to wrestling on the back of impressive college careers with Fresno State and the University of Miami.
The twins recently posted a video to TikTok in which they’re shown practicing a move that ended up in a blooper. As you’ll see right below, one of the sisters tries setting the other up for a flip that doesn’t quite turn out as expected, with the latter botching the landing.
“Practice makes perfect,” they wrote as the caption.
The Cavinder Twins are known for their athletic abilities, which is why they’re thought to be natural fits for WWE. It helped that they’ve amassed a huge following on social media.
The 22-year-olds signed a NIL deal with the wrestling promotion back in 2021 and decided to take up the discipline instead of playing out their fifth year of eligibility with the Miami Hurricanes.

Their departure may have something to do with the sanctions levied against the basketball program as a result of their commercial activity. The sisters have hit out at the NCAA a few times since the announcement and may have chosen to walk away from basketball as a result.
