The WNBA is on record pace for viewership and fans could not be any happier for these hard-working women on the court.
The 2023 WNBA All-Star Game was exciting and fans watching at home couldn’t get enough of it. The numbers prove it.
On Saturday night, the game averaged 850,000 viewers and peaked at 955,000 viewers while it was the most-watched WNBA All-Star Game in 16 years.
The AT&T WNBA All-Game was held in Las Vegas, which was inside Michelob ULTRA Arena. Team Stewart beat Team Wilson 143-127 in front of a soldout crowd in Las Vegas.
Jewell Loyd, who was on Team Stewart, finished with 31 points which was not only a record, but good enough to have take home the MVP award. Kelsey Plum, who was on Team Wilson, was second overall in scoring with 30 points.
Brittney Griner had a huge showing in her ninth All-Star appearance, scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Two of those points came on the 26th dunk of her WNBA career.

The league entered the midway point of its 27th season, which has been notable for memorable performances of WNBA players on the court and has led to viewership growth across its national television partners.
According to the NBA communications page, combined viewership for the WNBA across its national networks (ABC, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2) is up 67 percent over last year, averaging 556,184 viewers. Currently, this season is pacing to be the most-watched regular season across the league’s networks in over 20 years.
It was announced that the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will be played in Phoenix. Hopefully, the good times to continue to flow.
