Basketball fans are in stitches after a top WNBA superstar completed an all-time blooper you’ve never seen before.
WNBA superstar Alysha Cark of the Las Vegas Aces was tasked with a routine inbound play at her team’s end of the court in Wednesday’s road game against the Dallas Wings. Only this would be no routine inbound.
Clark had a brain cramp and instead inbounded the ball to Arike Ogunbowale of the opposing team. The latter reacted quickly and attempted a three-point shot that missed, sparing Clark of further humiliation:
The best part about all of this is that the WNBA superstar wasted no time poking fun at herself on X/Twitter after the game, which Las Vegas went on to win soundly by a final score of 95-81:

Clark finished the day with nine points, one rebound, an assist and a single block. Center A’ja Wilson led the team with 36 points to go along with 12 rebounds, two assists and six steals.
The dynamic guard duo of Jackie Young and veteran WNBA superstar Kelsey Plum combined for 39 points and 10 assists. The 5-2 Aces are back on the court Friday when they host the Seattle Storm.
WNBA Superstar-Studded Aces Aim For Three-Peat
Last season, the Las Vegas Aces became the first WNBA repeat champion in 21 years (the Los Angeles Sparks won back-to-back titles in 2001 and 2002) by defeating the New York Liberty 3-1 in the finals.
The now-defunct Houston Comets are the only team in league history to win at least three championships in a row. Houston won the league title in the WNBA’s first four seasons of operation (1997 to 2000), before the Sparks won their first championship.
Clark and the Aces are off to another strong start here in 2024. Entering play on Thursday, they’re fourth in the league standings and three games behind Connecticut (9-0) for the conference’s top seed.
