Angel Reese and a number of other WNBA stars have touched down in Miami for a new basketball adventure that has prompted lots of excitement among fans.
Reese and her WNBA peers are in the in the 305 to participate in a new 3-on-3 basketball league founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier called ‘Unrivaled,’ which is scheduled to tip off on January 17.
With the league’s debut fast approaching, players and coaches have assembled in Miami to prepare for the tournament.
The Unrivaled Instagram account posted a video of them arriving in the city to build some hype ahead of the action. But Reese hugging Teresa Weatherspoon from the back was one of the things that stuck out to fans.

Weatherspoon was Reese’s head coach in Chicago for her rookie season but was fired after the team finished 13-27.

Reese, who is very close to Weatherspoon, was not happy with the decision and made it clear that she didn’t want to play for anyone else. So it’s no surprise that she was happy to see her old coach.
“Angel and Spoon 😍😢❤️,” someone wrote in the comments.

Unrivaled games will air on TNT on Monday and Friday nights, as well as on TruTV on Saturdays. They will also be streamed on Max.
