Caitlin Clark enjoyed the second win of her rookie WNBA season against the Chicago Sky on Saturday, but her Indiana Fever teammates have come under fire for not having her back during the 71-70 victory.
Clark was the victim of a nasty foul in the Fever’s first home win of the campaign, with Chennedy Carter leaving a hard body check on her that left her floored.

Carter escaped with a common foul, and Clark was awarded a single free throw as the ball hadn’t been inbounded. But, given that the game was won by the slimmest of margins, Clark will not regret the foul that gifted the Fever an extra point.
Still, her teammates are taking heat online as they did not react to the foul.

Caitlin Clark Lamented Over Her Treatment Before Saturday’s Game
Caitlin Clark did not have a particularly impressive outing on Saturday, scoring 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting. But she will be pleased with the result after a tough start to life in the WNBA.
The guard previously lamented over the hard fouls she’s been treated to since her debut.
“I think everybody is physical with me, they get away with things that probably other people don’t get away with,” she said after the Fever’s loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday, per CBS. “It’s tough, but that’s just the fact of the matter. This is a very physical game, and you’re going to get pressure, this is professional basketball. It is what it is, honestly.”
The Fever will be back in action against the New York Liberty this Sunday, having already dropped two games to NY earlier in the season.
