The last time the two teams met, Carter became a household name after she purposely ran into Caitlin Clark and hip-checked her, which sent her to the ground. She was whistled for a common foul that was later upgraded to a Flagrant 1.
This time around, Chennedy Carter is actually being praised for something she did good while playing Clark.
On Sunday, fans took notice of Carter saving Clark from taking a nasty spill as she drove to the basket and got tangled up with the Sky’s Dana Evans in the first half of Indiana’s 91-83 win.

Carter drew the Clark assignment in their first matchup, and she did so the second time around as well, playing tough to try to throw the rookie off her game.
However, Caitlin Clark overcame another physical challenge from the Chicago Sky. She finished with 23 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds to help her Indiana Fever team to a 91-83 victory on Sunday, per ESPN.

The 2024 WNBA season is about a quarter way through a 40-game schedule, and Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are starting to figure it out.
Clark led all scorers with 23 points as the Indiana Fever picked up their second win in a row against the Chicago Sky on Sunday.
Behind her play, the Fever have won consecutive games for the first time this season. Indiana has now won four of six overall after starting the season 1-8.
