Angel Reese is quickly becoming a celebrity figure in the WNBA realm. However, apart from her scintillating play, there are instances when Reese’s emotions get the better of her. Likewise, in a June 4 faceoff against the New York Liberty, Reese and her team succumbed to a 75-88 loss. While that was a demoralizing situation in itself, things got even morose for Reese.
During the fourth quarter, Reese expressed her frustration at the officials. This resulted in Reese receiving two quick technical fouls. Ultimately, she was ejected from the court while getting slapped by a hefty fine of $200. Thankfully for Reese, she did not have to burn a hole in her pocket to settle the fine. Instead, it was LaMelo Ball who bore the entire cost.

Surprisingly, Ball actually gave Reese $2000 instead of $200! Appearing on the latest episode of ‘Unapologetically Angel,’ the Chicago Sky superstar had Ball as her guest. “So you gave me $2,000… Do you know how much my fine actually was? It was only $200,” Reese said.
Learning about the truth, Ball did not seem to be too bothered. Instead, he advised Reese that it was one of the worst fouls one can receive. “That was a terrible tech… I was actually at that game, my first WNBA game ever.” Meanwhile, the WNBA star recently had a hilarious rumor going around.
Angel Reese Will Allegedly Resort To Ben Simmons For Help
While Reese is just beginning her journey as a WNBA athlete, Ben Simmons is an established name in the circuit. Thus, when an X post claimed that Reese will be taking help from Simmons to improve her jump shots, it looked quite convincing. A lot of fans believed the news and even had their own take on the matter.
