Angel Reese has taken on the role of being the WNBA ‘villain’ or the ‘bad guy.’ Going off on her compatriot Caitlin Clark, Reese has passed on a few remarks that did not sit well with the fans. Thus, getting online hatred for her remarks, Reese quickly became the ‘baddie’. However, despite being comfortable in her ‘bad guy’ avatar, the young athlete looks up to a WNBA legend as the first ‘baddie’ of the league.
It is none other than the 6x WNBA All-Star Skylar Diggins-Smith. Appearing recently on the ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast, Reese asked Diggins-Smith, “Okay, now how was it being credited as the first W baddie?” Overwhelmed by the praise, the WNBA legend spilled her secrets.“Um, just having confidence, having swag, being able to show off versatility, um, and just really show your true personality and still be a dog on the floor. Like that, those are things that can coexist,” said Diggins-Smith.

Surely, Diggins-Smith was a phenomenal athlete. Apart from her incredible achievements as a playmaker for the Seattle Storm, she has also excelled in the field of business. Diggins-Smith has been involved with brands like Nickelodeon, Puma, and Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports. Meanwhile, Angel Reese is receiving online hatred; she appeared to have deleted her Instagram account recently for a similar reason.
