Another week, and yet another mass shooting in the USA that has claimed the lives of innocent people.
A gunman, who was also a patient at an Oklahoma hospital, shot and killed William Love, Dr. Preston Phillips, Dr. Stephanie Husen and Amanda Glenn in a medical building on the campus of Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, authorities said during a Thursday news conference.
Dr. Preston Phillips was the former head team physician for the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock.
“Just Women’s Sports” has more details:
“The gunman targeted Phillips, who he blamed for his ongoing pain following a recent surgery, police said Thursday. Phillips had performed the surgery. The gunman killed four people before shooting himself. He used an AR-style rifle that he had bought hours earlier, according to police.”
