Following the harassment of WNBA star Brittney Griner at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, we are now getting more details into what happened.
A YouTube personality tried to push his way through Phoenix Mercury security personnel to get to Brittney Griner while she and the team were making their way through the airport.
Alex Stein held his phone up while questioning Griner about the United States and being traded for the Merchant of Death.
USA TODAY dropped more details about the altercation:
“The person accused of subjecting Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner to “excessive harassment” at a Dallas airport on Saturday tried to push his way through team personnel to confront the WNBA star, according to police records obtained by ESPN.
Police said Alex Stein, a right-wing social media personality, approached the Mercury as the team walked the concourse of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport prior to the team’s flight to Indiana.”
Griner and the team were walking on a concourse to catch a flight to Indiana for a Sunday tipoff following two games against the Dallas Wings.
Officers were dispatched as the security guard told officers that Stein “seemed aggressive and made some inappropriate comments” to Griner. While the passenger never got physical with Griner, the Mercury security guard told officers the man was physical with him, but that he did not want to press charges.

The video he posted showed that much.
Griner missed the entire 2022 season while in Russian custody after officials said they found vape canisters with cannabis oil in her luggage. She was sentenced to a nine-year prison term but was freed in December through a prisoner exchange negotiated between the United States and Russia.
Griner hasn’t lost a step as she is averaging 22.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks in 30.6 minutes per game for the Mercury.
