Caitlin Clark Had A Historic 2024 Rookie Year
The highest-scoring player in NCAA Division 1 basketball history was drafted first overall by Indiana in 2024, and it certainly didn’t take Clark long to make an impact for the struggling franchise.
The 22-year-old averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game in her rookie campaign en route to 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, WNBA All-Rookie Team and All-WNBA First Team honors. Clark was also named to the All-Star Game.
Caitlin Clark also led Indiana to a 20-20 finish for their first playoff appearance since the 2016 campaign. The Fever were eliminated by the Connecticut Sky in the opening round of the playoffs, but it was nonetheless a major step forward for the long-struggling franchise for a team that has the new face of the WNBA to build around.
