Per The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Caitlin Clark is finalizing an endorsement deal with Nike.
The now WNBA rookie phenom, who has yet to take a single dribble in the league, is reportedly nearing a lucrative, eight-figure endorsement deal with Nike, where she is expected to have her own signature shoe.
Clark had her deal with the brand expire at the conclusion of the women’s college basketball season, so she had the chance to sign with anybody.
A new report is now coming out stating that Caitlin Clark actually met with Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour, which featured an appearance with Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.
Despite that star power, Nike was able to overcome the competition and lay the perfect deal that Caitlin Clark was unable to walk away from, even though Under Armour and Adidas both put “sizable offers” on the table, according to The Athletic.
