With NBA 2K25 set to be released on Sep. 6, we finally got our first look at WNBA stars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese in a video game.
Many on social media have gone to comment sections to discuss and make a few jokes about the two making their way to 2K for the first time.
“I’m glad they didn’t leave out the fake lashes onAngel,” said one commenter.
“Nice to see these young ladies getting featured in NBA2K!” added a third.
“Not bad at all, so good to see the WNBA get real publicity this year cause of these rooks!” said a fourth.

“I take Caitlin all day. If she isn’t a 100 idk what one looks like,” said another.
The WNBA was first added to the video game franchise in 2K20 and has been included in every year since. “We’re excited to roll out this new feature in NBA 2K20 because we know how important the WNBA is to the world of basketball,” said Jeff Thomas, SVP of Development, Visual Concepts, when first announcing the feature.
Adding the WNBA has always been a controversial move from 2K, as many believe that the game should only be focused on the NBA. However, there’s no denying that Clark and Reese made some real noise to the WNBA this year.
Caitlin Clark Closes In On Rookie Of The Year
There’s a clear race between Clark and Angel Reese for Rookie of the Year. However, it looks like Clark is taking the lead.
She leads rookies in points per game (17.1), assists per game (8.1), steals per game (1.5) and is second in player efficiency rating (17.3), just behind Reese at 18.4
No matter who wins the award, there’s an argument as to why both women deserve it.
