As you may know, WNBA players do not get treated the same as their NBA counterparts for a myriad of reasons.
A quarter-century into its existence and not much has really changed for the ladies. A few weeks ago, players on the Los Angeles Sparks were forced to spend the night in an airport due to flight delays.
The WNBA community has been at odds over the league’s commercial flight policies for years.
This week, Dallas Wings player Veronica Burton posted a video showing her and her teammates having to take a commercial flight while they prepare their playoff matchup.
Her original post on TikTok went viral, but she made sure to cut off the comments because of the nasty comments she would’ve received.
During her senior year in college, Burton led the nation in steals per game (4.0), while adding 17.8 points, 6.4 assists, and 5.5 rebounds.

After being drafted 7th overall by the Wings, she has played in 36 games and averaged 2.6 points per game while playing a little over 15 minutes a contest.
