Caitlin Clark told to snub $5 million offer
The Big 3 Coach Reggie Theus delivered a piece of great advice for Caitlin Clark in his conversation with TMZ. A few weeks earlier it was revealed that the popular rapper Ice Cube had offered the Iowa Hawkeyes star a staggering amount of $5 million to play in his league. The rapper had founded his very own 3v3 basketball league “The Big 3” a couple of years back and has been recruiting players to play in it.
Reggie Theus who has been a coach in the Big 3 league suggested Clark to follow her passion and stay away from Ice Cube’s offer. He insisted that playing in the WNBA is a much bigger dream and that Clark should stay dedicated to that instead of taking a detour in her career because of huge money. “The Big 3 would be a tremendous challenge. Growing up she wanted to be in the WNBA, so that’s a dream of hers. It is a tough choice,” said Reggie.
What’s next for Caitlin?
The rumors about what Caitlin’s next decision would be have been going crazy ever since the Ice Cube news went viral. However, the end decision lies with Clark herself and she has not talked about it publically on many occasions. For now, the Hawkeyes star has to focus on her upcoming match against the LSU Tigers.

The Iowa Hawkeyes recently beat Colorado in the women’s NCAA tournament. The win set them up to face their rivals the LSU Tigers who beat them last year for the national title game. Clark has been spectacular for the Hawkeyes but she had to be in her best condition against the Tigers. Her team would need her to settle the score from last year and move on ahead in the tournament.
