Angry Caitlin Clark fans have made a brutal edit to Indiana head coach Christie Sides’ Wikipedia page following the former Iowa star’s first two games in the WNBA.
Clark made two appearances for the Fever in the preseason. She’s yet to play a competitive game for her new team. However, fans are already lashing out at her coach as they’re not pleased with the way Sides has been managing the player who’s supposed to be the new face of the WNBA.
Following an impressive preseason debut against the Dallas Wings, Clark shot 4-for-12 in last Thursday’s fixture against the Atlanta Dream.

“I think she’s used to some shots that she’s taken in the last few years that are just those deep shots,” Sides told reporters after the game. “She’s gonna get open looks. She’s gotta figure out — I gave her a rule the other day — she’s got 0.5 seconds to make a decision.”
The HC also urged Clark to quit “hanging out and dancing” after hitting someone in the high post.
“When she gets off the ball and she hits somebody in the high post, she has a habit of hanging out and dancing,” she said. “That’s what she’s done. It’s these habits that we’ve gotta break.”

An Angry Caitlin Clark Fan Accuses Christie Sides Of Trying TO Ruin The Player’s Game
It appears that Caitlin Clark’s fans can’t handle the criticism. One has edited Christie Side’s Wiki page to brand her the only coach who could destroy the player’s game.
A paragraph under the “Indiana Fever” heading reads: “Sides got her first head coaching job in 2022, when she was hired as the ninth head coach in Indiana Fever franchise history and the only coach that could possibly ruin what the wnba [sic] is on track to accomplish by ruining Caitlin Clark’s game.”
Of course, Sides also had some praise for Clark.
“Her ability to space the floor for us is just incredible,” she pointed out. “We’re going to have five players on the court that can shoot it, but her passing ability – you saw some of the passes she made. I’m more mad at the how many missed layups we had. I think we’re just not used to having those, someone who can make those passes.”
Maybe they missed it.
Meanwhile, Clark is set to play in her first regular-season game when Indiana opens their 2024 campaign against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night.
