Chicago Sky star Angel Reese had a wholesome message for Colorado Buffaloes two-way phenom Travis Hunter after he was named the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner.
As expected, Travis Hunter was named the Heisman Trophy winner after flourishing on both sides of the ball. He hauled in 92 receptions for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns to go along with 11 pass breakups and four interceptions.
After Hunter was named the winner of the prestigious award, Angel Reese shared this heartwarming message for him on X/Twitter:

Travis Hunter is widely projected to be a top-three pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, with some believing that he’ll go first overall. His teammate and quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, is another early front-runner to go first overall.
After helping Deion Sanders and company finish 4-8 a year ago (Colorado won a single game in 2022 before hiring Sanders), Hunter led the Buffs to a 9-3 record that placed them as the nation’s No. 23-ranked team.

As for Reese, she’s coming off a phenomenal rookie year in which she averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Her 446 rebounds nearly set a new single-season WNBA record, but A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces set the record with 451.
Travis Hunter Will Be A Top-3 Pick
The only reason Hunter may not go first overall? In most cases, the team that owns the No. 1 selection needs a quarterback. Right now, the 2-11 Las Vegas Raiders and 2-11 New York Giants share the NFL’s worst record, and both need a QB.
But given Hunter’s two-way talents, especially as a game-changing wideout, it already feels like he’ll be a top-three pick come April.
