Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, recently shared a nostalgic reminder of his father's brief baseball career.

On his Instagram Story, Marcus shared a picture of Michael Jordan throwing the ceremonial first pitch at Comiskey Park for Game 1 of the 1993 ALCS.

Notably, this event came just one day before Michael Jordan's first retirement from basketball.

His decision to pursue a career in baseball surprised many fans, as it fulfilled a childhood ambition of his father, James Jordan Sr.

While Jordan signed a minor league contract with the Birmingham Barons, his baseball career didn't reach the same heights as his basketball achievements.

He ultimately returned to the NBA in 1995 and announced his comeback in a two-word fax, “I’m back”.
