The XFL is officially back after the league announced their inaugural schedule for the 2020 season, which will get underway on Saturday, February 8, the week after Super Bowl LIIV.
The first game of the XFL season will take place at Audi Field, as the D.C. Defenders host the Seattle Dragons on ABC. The next to follow will be on FOX that will see the Los Angeles Wildcats against the Houston Roughnecks at TDECU Stadium.
Week 1 of the 2020 season will then continue on Sunday as the New York Guardians host the Tampa Bay Vipers on FOX and then the St. Louis BattleHawks face off against the Dallas Renegades on ESPN.
Eight teams were divided into two divisions — East and West.
The East consists of the DC Defenders, New York Guardians, St. Louis BattleHawks, and Tampa Bay Vipers, while the West includes the Dallas Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, Los Angeles Wildcats, and Seattle Dragons. Each team will play 5 home and away games which will be followed by one round of two playoff games April 18-19 and a championship game on April 26.
