Tim Tebow might be returning back to football.
The former Gators Heisman winner and Denver Broncos QB has stated his commitment to playing baseball, but he did say there was “some communication” and “a couple conversations” with the XFL.
However, Tebow added that playing football again was never a serious consideration, and he wanted to remain “all in” on his baseball career.
Having a player like Tebow would put even more eyes on the XFL with the type of following and intrigue he continues to have, even though he has been out of the NFL for quite some time now.
In 2019, Tebow struggled as he hit just .163 with four home runs in 77 games.
