Coming into Sunday’s contest against the Tampa Bay Vipers — the Los Angeles Wildcats were a dumpster a 1-3, and with bad play comes disinterest from fans in the Los Angeles area.
For their 3rd game inside Dignity Health Sports Park, only 12,181 fans showed up, which was the 2nd-lowest attendance total for a team through five weeks. The New York Guardians have the claim with the smallest crowd, drawing only 12,116 fans in Week 4.
The Wildcats total attendance has dipped every single home game in 2020.

The team still put on a show for the fans that showed up on Sunday, falling behind 17-0 to the Vipers, only to come out victorious 41-34 and put their record at 2-3 and keep them within striking distance of the Houston Roughnecks who are still the only undefeated team in the XFL at 5-0.
