I hope the National Football League is paying attention, because of the fans in St. Louis are hungry for football.
That hunger has led to some of the bigger crowds of the XFL season, and it has gotten so big that the St. Louis Battlehawks announced they’ll open the upper deck of The Dome for their next home game against the Los Angeles Wildcats on March 21st due to high ticket demand.
Frank Cusumano of KSDK stated the Battlehawks will consider adding more seats if the 5,000 additional seats sell out as well.
Nearly 30,000 fans attended the team’s home opener in Week 3 and only dropped slightly as 27,527 fans showed up for its second home game the following week.
