The 2022/23 NFL season has run its course. But that hardly means football is over.
The XFL kicked off its inaugural season under new ownership this Saturday and has gotten off to a rousing start.
The Arlington Renegades and Vegas Vipers were the first teams off the mark as the action began this Saturday, with the Renegades rallying back from a deficit to win 22-20. The Orlando Guardians lost to the Houston Roughnecks with a 33-12 reverse in the contest that followed.
Fans seem pretty happy with the XFL’s return, given the reactions from social media. And it appears NFL players are also impressed, hyping the newly-revamped league up as well.

Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was also pleased with what he saw.
Chad Johnson, a former star wideout who spent most of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, was also a happy viewer.
While the action has been great, fans have taken to other features such as the rules and the review system, calling for the NFL to take a page from the XFL’s book.
