Josh Gordon is back on the football field.
After so many chances in the NFL, the former all-pro wideout will now be playing professional football in the XFL.
The XFL recently revealed the full rosters for all eight teams in the league for the upcoming 2023 reboot, and Gordon landed on the roster of the Seattle Sea Dragons.
Tennessee signed Gordon to the practice squad in September last season, but he only appeared in two games and didn’t record a reception. He was targeted just once. After his stint in Tennessee ended in October, Gordon didn’t latch on with another team for the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old has seen quite the fall from grace since a breakout 2013 season. Gordon caught 87 passes for a league-leading 1,646 yards en route to a spot on the All-Pro team and a Pro Bowl selection.
Other notable names around the XFL include Martavis Bryant and edge rusher Vic Beasley, as well as punter Marquette King and quarterback Paxton Lynch. Former quarterback Ben DiNucci and defensive lineman Treyvon Hester also made the roster.
