Week 5 of the XFL season kicked off on Saturday and sparks were flying in the late game between New York and Dallas.
The Guardians made easy work of the Renegades with a dominating 30-12 victory on the road, but that wasn’t what everybody was talking about after the game.
In the 3rd quarter, the Guardians had just thrown an interception, but it became secondary to a fight on the field. #69 of the Guardians ripped the helmet off a Dallas player and that same player would get up and start throwing punches.
Players from both sides started to come out on the field as refs worked to find out who were the instigators. Multiple people were ejected, but somehow, #69 escaped it.
The New York Guardians improved their record to 3-2, while Dallas dropped under .500 with a 2-3 record.
