Before Sunday’s game, Dallas Renegades coach Bob Stoops took part in a sideline interview and offered up some interesting information about quarterback Philip Nelson.
Stoops says he was not only an Instagram model, but an underwear model as well.

Nelson is indeed a former model, and although he never made it into the NFL, he has participated with two different professional franchises. Nelson was signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League n 2018, but would soon be cut before training camp. He also played with the San Diego Fleet of the now defunct Alliance of American Football.
In four games, Nelson threw for 513 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.
During Sunday’s loss to the St. Louis Battlehawks — Nelson finished the game with 209 passing yards on 33-of-42 passing, but failed to record a single touchdown pass in the BattleHawks’ 15-9 victory.
