Katherine Webb had some high praise for her husband A.J. McCarron after his thriller of a performance on Sunday.
The XFL quarterback was involved in the league’s best game on opening weekend as he fired the St. Louis Battlehawks to a 15-point comeback in the final 90 seconds of their matchup vs. the San Antonio Brahmas with the help of some exciting XFL rules.
Webb, a model and television personality, celebrated the former Alabama star’s big win after the night’s events on her Instagram Story.
“Not many ppl know how meaningful this win was but you a baddd man,” she wrote.
Webb and McCarron have been married for nine years and have three children together.
The QB was overtaken by emotion after the win on Sunday and could hardly get through a post-game interview out on the field as his two sons ran over to embrace him.

“It’s awesome,” he said when asked about getting to play in front of his kids. “It means a lot.”
That was about all McCarron could manage as his interviewer recognized how difficult it was for the player to speak and let him go.
McCarron, a three-time national champion, is a former NFL quarterback as well. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft and went on to play for the Buffalo Bills, the then-Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, and Atlanta Falcons before this latest stint in the XFL.
