The XFL 3.0 version of the league is getting set t kick off next year, but first, they had to get some players on the teams.
The XFL held day one of its draft in Las Vegas, which was essentially just the announcement of the initial 15 quarterbacks and where they will be playing this upcoming winter/spring.
There were a few notable names that fans from the NFL will already be familiar with.
Ben DiNucci and Steven Montez will be the Seattle Sea Dragons quarterbacks for the 2023 season. DiNucci played in three games his rookie year after getting picked by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL draft, with one start. He finished with 219 passing yards and a 53.5% completion rate with zero interceptions.
A.J. McCarron is the newest St. Louis Battlehawk. The former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback was a fifth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2014 NFL Draft. He led the Crimson Tide to BCS championships in the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Former Florida State and Hampton quarterback, Deondre Francois, was selected by the Orlando Guardians. He was a three-year starter for the Seminoles but was dismissed from the program prior to the 2019 season.
