Former tennis star Arina Rodionova gave the biggest shock to her fans this week.
The Australian tennis star and former Australian Football League star Ty Vickery announced their divorce in a video posted to her social media on Wednesday.
Rodionova added that they had been separated for about a year after nine years of marriage.
Vickery, who was eating a banana, said they wished “each other the best” and thanked their friends, family, and followers for their support.
Arina Rodionova then tried to shake Vickey’s hand, but the AFL player decided to try to give her the banana instead.
“Life happens. We have lots of love for each other but sometimes it’s just not enough,” she wrote in the caption of the video.

This announcement came shortly after Rodionova’s exit from the Australian Open, where she was eliminated in the second round.
The New York Post made note that the divorce came weeks after Rodionova announced the launch of her OnlyFans account.
“Good news for everyone who was asking. My OnlyFans account was confirmed, so here we go. Let’s do this,” she previously stated.
In her career, Rodionova has won one WTA Tour and one WTA 125 doubles title, as well as 16 singles and 42 doubles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit.
She reached a career-high singles ranking of No.97 in 2024, while she had a ranking of No. 41 in doubles back in 2015.
