Anna Kournikova is one of the most famous tennis players. She retired in 2003 after she dropped out of the Family Circle Cup after suffering a complicated injury, and she would then go on to become a model.
During her tennis career, Kournikova earned a solid $3 million-plus in prize money. Her highest ranking was number eight, which she achieved in 2000. However, she failed to win any titles in Women’s Singles.
It was a different story for Women’s Doubles. She would rank number one alongside her partner Martina Hingis, winning 16 titles. Her total record across both singles and double would end up being 409 wins and 200 losses.
Kournikova was just 21 when she retired. When she retired young, she found another career as a TV personality and model and appeared on The Biggest Loser in 2010.
