Harmony Tan, who is currently the #115 ranked women’s tennis player, had the biggest win of her career when in Round One at Wimbledon she defeated the legendary Serena Williams. Tan won the match 7-5, 1-6, 7-6 in a contest that lasted over three hours.
Either Harmony was exhausted from the marathon match or she celebrated way too much, because the next day she bailed on her doubles partner Tamara Korpatsch. The duo were set to play Raluca Olaru and Nadiia Kichenok but had to forfeit.
Tan has stated that she suffered a thigh injury, but needless to say, her partner did not seem to believe her as she posted to her Instagram a very angry and disappointed message.
We will get to see how really injured Harmony Tam is, as she is scheduled to take on Sara Sorribes Tormo in second round action on Thursday at Wimbledon.
