A female fan had a classy reaction to Daniil Medvedev mouthing her off during a game at the US Open this week.
The Russian had a frustrating outing against Christopher O’Connell, though he ended up winning, and would rant at two female fans at one point, telling them to “shut up” before asking them “Are you stupid?”
Medvedev was upset by the fans walking to their seats while he was about to serve and would lash out as he’s known to do once the US Open gets underway.
The reaction to his outburst was brilliant as one of the fans blew him a kiss. Check it out below:
Medvedev beat his Australian opponent 6-2 6-2 6-7 6-2, though that didn’t seem to help his mood. He looked to have had the game in the bag and was on course for a straight-sets win after going up 4-2 but let O’Connell tie things up at 4-4.

While the Russian was unable to capitalize on two match points in the tie break, he would eventually win the fourth set 6-2.
