The entire sports world has recently been fixated on the new relationship between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift, however, there may be a new sports power couple that people will begin to talk about.
Over the weekend, Barstool Sports owner Dave Portnoy and tennis star Aryna Sabalenka were spotted in Miami hanging out together. This coming just weeks after Portnoy was throwing his support behind Sabalenka as she pursued her first U.S. Open title.
Portnoy became a fan of Sabalenka’s during her early matches of this years U.S. Open and was cheering her on during her run all the way to the Finals. After a gruelling semifnals match against Madison Keys, where she dropped the first set 6-0, Sabalenka roared back to take the match in three sets setting up a finals against American Coco Gauff.
Sabalenka had invited Portnoy to watch the Finals Match, but he had a prior commitment with Barstool so he was unable to attend. Although Sabalenka won the first set, she would ultimately lose the title in three sets to Gauff.
