Todd Gurley was a running back for six seasons in the NFL, primarily playing for the Los Angeles Rams. Todd Gurley played college football at the University of Georgia from 2012 to 2014. He decided to forego his senior season and entered the 2015 NFL Draft, where he was drafted 10th overall by the St. Louis Rams. He finished his rookie year with 1,106 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, even after only starting for 12 games. He was named to the 2015 All-Rookie Team and was also named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. The Rams moved to Los Angeles in 2016, and in 2017 under the direction of Sean McVay, Gurley was named the Offensive Player of the Year.
After a knee injury inhibited his performance, Gurley was released by the Rams in 2020 and picked up by the Atlanta Falcons. He sat out the 2021 season and announced his retirement in 2022.
